TEAM LIAISON'S DUTIES
Attend monthly Athletic Booster meetings to report on your team's progress during the season. If you can't make the monthly meeting, you can always email something brief to report. Monthly meetings are held at 7:00 p.m. in the BHS Library on the second Tuesday of the month during the school year.
Encourage your team's athletes and their families to donate to the BHS AthleticBoosters Club and submit their Participation Forms timely. Every team should aim for 100% participation. We will provide you with participation levels several times throughout your season. These are also announced at every Athletic Booster meeting.
Assist your team in getting funding from the Athletic Booster Club for needed equipment, uniforms, tournaments, or equipment repair. This includes coordinatingwith the coach and the Athletic Director.
Keep your team informed of all upcoming games, tournaments, and special events by sending out informational notices via emails to the parents and athletes.
Assign a Team Parent to help coordinate rides (if needed) to and from games, tournaments, and special events, (all drivers must have a completed Student/Adult Driver Application Form 147-F) and help coordinate drinks and snacks for all games (if needed).
Notify your team when volunteers are needed to staff an Athletic Booster fundraiser. Parents and students can volunteer at the snack shack at the football and basketball games played at BHS.
Proceeds go into Athletic Booster coffers and all teams
have equal access to this fund.
